'13 to '14 fairing conversion

Not seeing what I was looking for so I will ask. In several Youtube videos the host mentions converting the 2013 fairing to the 2014 so that you can access the battery without tearing everything apart. Is it possible to just swap the interior (dash,glovebox cover and battery cover) over to the 2014? Leaving the rest original? Would be nice to access the fuse and battery in just a few mins instead of taking everything apart. thanks in advance

It's not a "fairing" modification, it's a "panel" modification.

AFAIK all the original, premodified '13 parts and '14 parts are identical. The parts fiches (fischii?) for the two models show the same part #'s for the front dash cover, the glove box, left cover, etc. Later '13 models came with the modified panel that is used from '14 on.

With the modified panel, only that one panel need be removed.
