Anybody gonna be at Daytona this Saturday? I usually see a bunch of FJRs parked by the track and nobody around.

I'll be at the Speedway probably tomorrow and also on Saturday. Think I'm going to bring the wife along and try to ride a CAn-AM spyder. They look so interesting. Also going to check out the tike conversion people. Not ready for one yet, but checking it out.
First thing Thursday I'm getting the HeliBar triple tree installed. Set up the appointment about 2 months ago.

OK. Here's the deal. I should be arriving at the track around 10 a.m. give or take a little. I usually park the bike to the left of the main entrance. It's a blue 05 with a car tire on the back and my trusty Darth Vader darkside decal on the back fender. Maybe we could go out for lunch or dinner or ??? Take down my phone number (below) and give me a call around 11 or so. I'll try to be at the track from 10-1 (at least) and I will be hoping we can do lunch around 12-1 or so??? Looking forward to meeting you's guys.

You're from Orlando. I'll be spending the night in Orlando (3 miles E of 1-4 on "50") at my daughter's college apartment, and will be grabbing some breakfast with Kathleen near 1-4 and 50 around 7:30 Sat morning. Wanna meet for breakfast at IHOP there on 50 just east of i-4???

I was at the track today and ran into a '07 FJR guy and wife from New York. Didn't catch the name - we talked briefly - but I knew he was a forum member as he had a set of Gerauld tips on his mufflers.
Sat the 15th my FJR & I are tasked with the Jack Shoalmire 1K, so I'll get plenty of riding in...

I was at the track Thursday and the only folks doing demos were Star/Yamaha and CanAm. None of the other nmajors players were present. H-D might be up at Destination Daytona, but not sure. Vendors were off by approximately 40% or (my estimate) and mostly tee shirts and cruiser chrome.
Only saw 1 trike converter 2 add-on type conversions(voyager type).
Going tomorrow to ride the Spyders early.
Gary, will try you around 11 or so to see what is happening.

Leaving for Daytona in about 45 minutes. My brother is riding over with me.
We always park in the track area on the right side so we're closer to the demo rides. Look for a Silver 2010 with a Premier Cycles rack and backrest and has a headset jack on the left side between the frame and tank for the Starcom.

Loved that nostalgic CB350 Four she rides.
Jim demo rode a Super Ten. I talked to a lady who was sitting on a FJR demo. She had short legs and could only reach the ground with her tippie toes. I heard her ask her husband if he thought it could be lowered. I told her about the forum and that she could find lots of info here including how to lower the bike and reshape the seat to lower the seat height. Maybe we'll have a new member soon.
