I am trying to change out the top right side of my faring. I cant seem to get the two fasteners on the lower front to get them to release. how would be the way for me to get them? Thanks

The top side pieces are the LAST pieces to come off the bike when done in the right sequence. It looks like they'd be first, since they're on top, but NO-O-O-O-O-O !!! those come off the bike with the nose as an assembly, THEN you can remove them from the nose. There are fasteners you can't reach until the nose is off.

See Kaitsdad's thread here for Gen-II fairing and cowl removal.

(Similar thread for Gen-I by Yours Truly, here. )

In both threads, the lower fairing are removed first, but I think you can simply remove the bolts joining the uppers to the lowers, then the fasteners connecting the nose to the lowers, and proceed from there, leaving the lowers on the bike.
