It's time once again for the best-damned midwest FJR Tech Day EVER!

Edition #22 will be in sunny, beautiful, Owosso, Michigan, and will be hosted by Bust and MizzBust. Wanna know how to get to Owosso? Just let your nose lead ya to the stench.

After the shit-show that was 2020, who really knows what's gonna be going on but, let's go ahead and make our best effort. And, at this point it's an unknown if the border will be open, so a Canadian invasion is doubtful.  :(

If'n yer gonna stay the night, try booking a room at one of these fine establishments when we got closer to the event:
Pines Country house. 989 723 9000
Comstock Inn 989 725 0999

Or, ask TimDOG aboot his excellent experience at another place in Owosso.

Plan on Saturday, May 1, 2021 for this soiree.

Post up if you are coming. Please include:
1. When you plan on arriving and if you are staying overnight. That helps the innkeepers to plan and stuff.
B. What you're looking to do to your bike. Plan on wrenching on your own bike with folks nearby who have already either broken what you're working on or have completely screwed the pooch on what you're working on. If you're not sure what parts you will need for whatever you wanna do to your bike (say, a valve check or a fork rebuild), the sooner you speak up, the sooner you can get parts advice.

The Brain Trust usually brings most tools needed to get most jobs done. But, it's doubtful that the Canadians will be present to provide tools, so we'll just steal Bust's tools. He doesn't really need 'em anyway.

If you need tires, speak up so that we can try to arrange a tire-changer. Don't count on it, though.

As a reminder, if you wanna do a valve check, plan on getting there Friday or trailering your bike. The engine has to be stone cold to do a valve check. If you don't have a shim kit, we'll make sure one is available.

If you wanna ship parts there ahead of time, speak up so we can get ya the shipping address. And if you haven't been to this little patch of misery .. err, Michigan ... let us know so we can get you the address.

I presume the header date should read "2021", as the text body states 2021? Is this still happening? I may be able to attend. Not that I need anything done to my bike, but hope to learn about some more in-depth stuff that is FJR-specific.

Holy crapola - how did mess that up? Eesh - yep, 2021 - I fixed it.

Yep, this is still happening. A few guys are gonna show up tomorrow. Sooze and I will get there prolly late Saturday morning and some others will roll in on Saturday as well.

PM either me or Bust for the address. I'll be on the bike most of the day tomorrow, so if ya send a PM then, send it to Bust.
