Well,I can now say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the XB pegs will NOT work on an FJR...at least not a 1st gen...no how, no way. At least not without a cutoff wheel and a MIG welder. Bummer...I had high hopes for a cheap fix.

What is the limiting factor?

A) They won't even fit in the slot that the stock peg comes out of (too wide).

B} They hang at the wrong angle entirely, so even if you could get them in the slot, the peg feelers point to the rear contact patch.

C) The hole for the pin being the wrong size is the least of the problems.

They might work on Huge-A-Busas, but no dice here.
