Imogene Pass -

Had a chance to spend a week out in Colorado during late September and the weather turned out beautiful. We camped at 9300 feet for a week and rode many routes through out the San Juan mountains.

Here is a ride ascending up to Imogene pass from Telluride on my Husqvarna TE630. The pass became difficult to reach and then presented some real challenges to get down.

I admit, my initial reason for looking at this post was to see if you were crazy enough to try it on the FJR, heh.

Sort of reminded me of the interior of Iceland. The only other factor I had to contend with was the active volcanos.

Looks like I'll be looking for snow tires for my dual sport before heading up that way. Awesome country, thanks for posting!
