Jewlery for Naomi

A 2013 FJR has a lot more room under the tank than a 2006. The 13 has coil over plugs meaning no coils under the tank. Also, the 13 has OEM cruise control. on KrZy8, the CCS-1000 Audiovox CC resides there. Removing the PAIR makes even more room. So let's remove the PAIR from Naomi.

Lift the tank off.

Some of the Allen heads can be reached directly. Others require Allen wrench with a helper box end for more torque.

There is one electrical connector. The PAIR 'rail' attached via a rubber block with a tab and slot assembly.

The connector can be hard to release. Use forceps for an easy removal.

Almost there..

She's out!

Bottom side. Fairly clean. 12k miles.

The beautiful WynPro caps.

Look at all that room!

The bolts have some kind of yellow loctite. Clean them up with a wire brush and use some type of anti-seize.

It is fun to work on a pristine bike.

WynPro instructions.

The end.

You might as well change the coolant while you are that close to everything.

Gotta luv a clean valve cover...and Ray has a point DC, coolant swap is probably overdue anyway!

My '15 is due for a coolant swap this winter. I'll be digging into it the next month or so.
