Motorcycle Observations in Europe

Aasland - this is similar to what we observed in Spain and Rome. Not to the same degree in France.

I was in Germany this spring and rented a car for a couple of days. Driving on some country roads (nice, wide, well-maintained by the way), I started noticing certain speed limit signs...for tanks! They each had a silhouette of a tank and/or a truck and then listed two speed limits. One was for if all traffic was flowing in the same direction and the lower one was for if there was two-way traffic. To be honest, I only noticed a few motorcycles while I was there (one week, in Bayreuth).
