No, the Latitude is different from the Latitude Misano. The new Latitude is what used to be called the Latitude 840. It is built entirely of 840 denier Cordura, and so it is much heavier in weight and flexibility. The Misano, while it shared the "Latitude" name, and like the current Overland gear, was an entirely different line of jackets and pants built from a lighter gauge of Cordura with 840 D only in the impact areas.

The Misano is what was discontinued.

Well hate to argue but I own a crashed out set of the original Latitude coat and pants and replaced it with a set of Latitude Misano coat and pants. The Latitude Misano is the identical cut to the original Latitude with the exception of a lower collar, upgrade to D30 armor, and only containing 840D material in the impact areas. When Klim came out with the second generation Latitude Misano they continued selling the original Latitude and called it the Latitude 840D with no changes other than the name. Klim has now discontinued the 840D and Misano Latitudes and just called it the Latitude again. The new Latitude is similar to the 840D and Misano but appears to be a slightly different cut along with the pocket changes mentioned in my last post.
