Took a nice ride today, did about 300 miles. Rode north west toward the upper Adirondack mountains then south towards central NY. Then headed south east to Cooperstown. Picked up schneiders bakery old fashioned donuts to take home, had a couple slices of Sals pizza then headed north east through Saratoga and home. It was chilly this morning when I set out, around 45 degrees but warmed up to around 57 later in the afternoon. The scenery was excellent, the leaves up north were past peak but as I went south they got better. The sun teased me all day by peaking out for about 10 minutes at a time. The one constant I had all day was the awesomeness of my '13 FJR. The hand grip heaters were great, the cruise was great, averaged over 50 MPG, it handled great and was comfortable. Just another excellent day, just me and my FJR.
