We ended part 2 with a couple of pics during our stop in Seattle. We're going to begin part 3 with a couple of more pics from Seattle.
Entering the "Pike Place Market" area.
See I told you it was Pike Place Market. Iris under the sign.
Just a little North of downtown Seattle, we did find the Aurora Bridge Troll, as did a few others.
It was suggested that we stop in at the Pacific Maritime Brewery (in Ballard) for a bite to eat, so we did.
It was time to get back on the road, so we headed South on I5 around the end of the bay, past Olympia. We stopped for the night in Bremerton. The next morning we continued North on Rt. 101 and stopped in Port Townsend.
We took a walk out on the pier and took these pics.
A nice city Port Townsend.
We stayed on Rt. 101 around the tip of the Olympic National Park, and it was not long before we found ourselves on the Oregon coast. We stopped at a pull off spot and found this guy catching some sun.
This sign talked about the Tsunami of 1700 along the Oregon coast. And yes, another sunny day.
The Oregon sea coast is just beautiful.
This is Devil's Churn on the Oregon coastline.
We were able to talk a young man into taking our picture at Devil's Churn.
Read it for yourself.
Continuing South on Rt. 101, still in Oregon, we stopped at this lighthouse.
OK, here's the lighthouse. It was quite cool (cold perhaps, according to Iris) and a little foggy.
Iris on her way to check things out.
Yes somemore Oregon coastline....and yes another sunny day.
OK, I had to make sure I got my bike in one picture.
It's time to end Part 3. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did re-living it. :clapping: Part 4 coming soon.
