Yesterday I met my buddy for breakfast in Oakland; then we ran the locally famous Redwood Rd to Skyline to Grizzly Peak to the Wall.

When we got to the Wall in Berkeley, a fellow pulled up on this 1976 Goldwing he was restoring.

Kick start a Gold Wing? I'd like to see that. And one disassembles the gas tank to gain access to the kick start lever. What will they think of next?

I suppose you DO meet the nicest people on a 40-year-old Honda.

Nice pics and I digress here, but for the life of me I cannot ever understand why people want to emulate an H.A./OMG. Wearing a three piece patch on your back and inviting you to a "clubhouse", why?
