Can some one tell me the difference between a battery's positive terminal and the negative terminal as apposed to a constant power and a ground? Isn't the neg terminal on the battery grounded anyway?

Pos & Neg only have to do with electron flow. they flow from neg to positive. THe negitive is only grounded when you ground it.

In Oz, of course, it's the other way around. You ground the positive...

motor-cicles utilize the 'floating-ground' principle; the ground does not return to 'earth' to achieve electron flow within the system. It's the same all over this planet, not sure about 'Oz'
