Will someone please just go out and ride that thing? (and preferably post a picture).

We need closure here!

A-f'ing-MEN, Tom !!!

We've been following this resurrection saga for years now, and we've never seen any evidence of this motorcycle being ridden. Stories about it? Sure. But c'mon - even the Candybutt prez knows pics are required on the internet.
If you had been at the RTE instead of screwing off in the snow you would have seen it or you could look at the RTE thread and found the pictures and video,

Ray, next time you do one of Carvers ride's call me up I'll give it a proper Oregon break in/out. That bike should be rode hard, Don needs to get that rust out of his pipe.

So that's it? I feel this thread just gave me a serious case of E.D. after following this thread for three years. No wood!

I put around fifty miles on it but because of no insurance or license I didn't want to push my luck. There are two more of his collection in the shop waiting to be beat to death with money so you may get your chance.

Thanks Ray! I'm up for just about anything.

That's some impressive work you've done on that project. Thanks for sharing the journey.

Really. :blush2: And it wasn't even a video, just a series of photos off my smartphone...
You know, with DCarver sitting on it, that bike isn't so Fugly. ;)

I guess you just had to be there.

No, Carver didn't do any burnouts, but to see and here that beast in person was worth the wait.

Ray; Awesome job on a bike I didn't even know had been manufactured until this thread came along.

Don, nice job of keeping a dream alive. Once she was fired up and the smoke cleared, the sound of that in-line six purring along was heavenly.

For those of you who watched this thread all these many months......Ya had to be there..... Awesome.

I suspect you're right -- what I'd most want to hear and experience in this resurrection are the purr and growl settings of that aftermarket 6 to 1 pipe
