Adam will be in CenCal for family business.

I'm going to meet him in Tracy for lunch on Sunday, Jan 22.

Anyone else interested, please post up.

Likely to eat near the West Valley Mall as that seems to be where decent purveyors of edible delicacies are located: Texas Roadhouse, Strings, Olive Garden, Chili's, etc.

I s'pose we could do Black Bear Diner or Golden Corral........

Yes...I have emailed the locals but most seem to have prior plans etched in stone.

You rang?

Weather is a bit questionable this weekend, not to mention you are competing with the NFC playoffs with SF and NY.

The first time that Sylvia and I met Don Carver was at a Black Bear enroute to WFO at Reno (I think we were in Susanville?). We'd just checked into our motel a block down the street and were looking for someplace air conditioned and to get some iced tea to rehydrate.

Don ordered a cinammon bun to go with his cold drink, and it was as big as his head!

Have a good grip and grin boys and girls - I have to clear a couple of inches of fresh snow before I tune in the games.

WOW! Adam over shot SoCal by quite a bit.

Thanks to MM2 for taking him to lunch. :yahoo:

Catch ya next time folks. ;)

Enjoy. :D

D'ya think!?!?

1.) Hence the subtitle: "Likely drive to eat...."

2.) I'm going to have lunch with Adam. It's his family's timing, not mine.

Might be possible... :)
I likely won't hear from Adam until later this afternoon or early evening, so the venue isn't "set-in-stone".

Uhm....probably not lasagna. ;)

I think for Tyler, I would eat lasagna...and from the looks of things, I'm surprised you wouldn't too.

I remember that it was way hot and sticky, that Black Bear was a good food joint!
Say hi to Adam for me!

Texas Roadhouse @ 1200

2422 Naglee

Tracy, CA

Coming from Sac one would need to turn left on Naglee from the off ramp,

If it's just Adam and I, we'll enjoy our beef and NOT post food-porn. You gotta be there.....

Checking in finally.

Today was a full day with the funeral of my Godfather.

Very special thank you to Toecutter for coming and representing the Patriot Guard Riders. :good:

Mike, See you at noon. I'm in Gustine and it shows 47 miles away. :)

George sounds like he was definitely one of the gooduns... condolences on the loss of a good man. I'm glad that he was represented by the PGR and Toecutter... one helluva tribute. :)
