Ride with Jeff D, Bokerfork and Big Dan

I'll let Jeff D do a more complete ride report when he un-busies himself from barbecuing for a giant crowd. In the meantime, i bagged and tagged a couple photos from our ride today. Jeff took us on an awesome trip, i speak for BigDan and myself when i say it was an absolute pleasure adventuring with him and Bokerfork. Here are some photos:

Yes, it is northern ca. Between Foresthill and Georgetown. It was a gorgeous day. Thanks to Jeff for getting us out there to enjoy it!!

 

[Bokerfork]

I suspected there were roads and scenery as wonderful as these but it took Jeff D, Big Dan and his RoxieRae(aka the invisible cat, aka Sarah) to show it to me. Unbelievable scenery combined with perfect weather, spectacular twisties and beautiful people. It all added up to a great day. Morro Bay can't even compare.

And for anybody that wants to learn how to ride smooth and fast, may I suggest you follow Big Dan for a few dozen miles. He certainly made a better rider out of me.

Big thanks to Jeff D. JB was right. A first rate guy I'd be happy to ride with any day. I was worried I'd be sitting home wishing I was in Morro Bay, but this was far better.

And Sarah. What can I say. After following you astride that V Strom, you made a believer out of me. Just may be my next bike. Who needs a BMW GS at three times the price.

Can you believe we rode across that bridge? Dear old Dad took me over ANOTHER one of those on the way home... :lol:
