Doesn't the electrical cord also carrying a ground wire?

Well, this would be a good time to verify that the GFI circuit breaker does in fact work.

This is clearly a Darwin Awards trap to reduce the surplus population. Put beer on a table in the middle of a pool, attach an electrical strip floating between two sandals, and see who dives in. Brilliant!

Naw, the beer isn't imported since they're in Europe. The electrical connections are European. Which means of course that the cord is 230 volts.

Right on the power, but it was taken in Oz, where a good number of outlets have a switch.
