Sylvania Silverstar Headlights?

I've owned Silverstars, Piaas, and Plasma Ultra Whites. They're all the same - I've even run one of each brand in each side, I can't see a difference. Plasmas are $15 / pair at walmart.

Thanks for that article, Bounce. That was very enlightening It was scientifically very accurate and changed my thinking about the 'more light from the same wattage' claim. Good stuff.

That's EXACTLY my point!

I grabbed a cheap pair of 'plasmas" off the shelf at my stereo distributor and threw them in to try after one of the Silverstars burned out. That was over 2 years and 8,000 miles ago. Still just as bright as the day I put them in. And they were just some no name brand with Japanese writing on the box.
