Is anyone using a tank bra?

I'm talking about the type that covers the whole rear part of the tank

(closest to the rider). I'd like to know:

1. does it help with the heat problem on the inner thigh? and, if so,

2. where did you get one to fit the FJR?

I recently went on a two-up ride and after about 120 miles I had to stop

because I couldn't stand the heat on the inside of my thigh. I was able to

continue after topping off the tank and taking a few minutes.

I'm trying to find ways to avoid this in the future, besides just not riding

in So. Florida 90 degree weather. :dribble:

Thanks!

I have the Bagster set up. Though I can't tell any difference as my bike doesn't seem hot to me, but folks have laid hand to it and said they perceive a difference. :dntknw:

hi twowheelnut,

I was looking at some sports touring websites, not quite sure...

will you share where you got yours and was it specifically made

for the FJR or did you have to farkle with it? :D

thanks

Sure! Go to bikejohnny.com. They own the .ws FJR site and are good people! I ordered my stuff on a Thursday and it arrived the following Wednesday and I recieved superior service and communications from them. Bagster makes one specifically for the FJR as well as other makes and models.

Here's a piccie for you. Note that the 'Tektra' tank bag is part of the Bagster system and clips to the tank cover.
