Use 6 point sockets instead of 12 point

And as I remember I also needed a 12 point 1/4 inch socket for my Road King front caliper

I was gonna mention that 12-pt socket need too, the Dynas are the same. 12-pts are also handy for 4-pt height adjusting capscrews, we locally call them jack screws. Those of use in the business for a while even have 8-pt sockets for those.

 
I think using 12 point sockets on bolts is less of a problem than the use of Hexhead fasteners. They are easy to bugger-up. I much prefer the Torex fastners that are common on Beemers. I've replaced a few Hexhead fasteners with Torex fasteners, especially those that are often used.

 
A 12 point bolt head using a 12 point socket works great. But thats right socket for the bolt head at hand a correct situation
