As an alternate suggestion, I found an obscure part--not '05-specific, in fact not FJR-specific--at a local motorcycle wrecking yard. If you don't have a local one, easy to find one online. The 90o extension bracket for one of my Kuryakyn highway pegs just snapped in two a while back. I liked how it positioned the peg, even though it was an overpriced, chrome-y, Harley-looking thing. The local place had the exact same thing (complete with the peg itself, which had fallen off somewhere with the broken mount), and at a semi-reasonable price.
