For information, rode from centeral California through Oregon, Washington and into B.C. for a rally with the Coast Riders of Vancouver, BC. First time in three years Crater Lake was not full of smoke. Spent a few days at Oliver, BC then on to Jasper and the Ice Fields highway. Weather was fantastic. Exited the Ice Fields via Rocky Mountain House and south through Calgary and on to West Yellowstone for a few days. Tied in with the International Brotherhood of Motorcycle Campers international rally in Cody, WY. Fellow FJR pilot bobvail also attended. From Cody worked back to Fresno, CA via Deer Lodge, Couer d'Alene, the Tri Cities, and Klamath Falls.

Overall a great trip and the FJR ran fine. Ticking is a littel louder, but still not too bad. Stats for the trip were 4909 miles with an overall milage of 47.72 miles per gal. This was first trip with Avons and they were great. Started with a new rear at 7/32 over the wear bars and after 5000 miles it still has 5/32.

Front was at 2950 miles when I started and showed 3/32 over the wear bars. At 7900 miles of wear the front still has 2/32 over the wear bars.

My 04 FJR is now at 26,000 miles with no problems.
