Windchill in the single digits but rode on duty in a funeral procession today anyway. Eight of us escorted a funeral for a little girl who was viciously murdered by a monster. Pretty somber state of affairs and I didn't mind the cold, least I could do for that little angel.

Sad deal. I've got a lot of family in Springfield and have been feeling the pain.

Thank you for your service. Sincerely....

May she rest in peace, and her family have peace of mind going forward. Kudos to you, for doing that for her!

That's because when they go home, they live in the garden spot of Canada, while the rest of the country is in a deep freeze, their home is only around 30 f or so. But don't tell everyone, they will all want to live there.

Actually not true.... if they live in the valley they still have to up over the mountains to get to go anywhere.

Soooo sick of winter. Just got back from San Diego, back in the cold Midwest now, in one week down to Miami. If you can't beat the southern temps, join them!

Us, who live in the"Bruce" get used to the weather and road closures....We all know which side road to take to by pass those road closed signs. I do find it very funny when the weather patterns get to close to the center of the universe. They report it like it is the end of the world!

Just ask Yamafitter when he spent one winter up here... Couldn't get him to come back again for a repete.

Me whine... no way.... just an old fashion winter.

There, fixed it for you...... and thanks for sending that massive white-out over here this morning.... luckily it only lasted 15 minutes at this end but we have some lingering flurries.

Bungie's sending down the freezer tonight, going down to -24C. Bastage.

Just remember, if hell freezes over, somebody's gonna think the Leafs won the Stanley Cup!
