Will Gen 1 bags Fit a Gen 2?

I need to replace at least the left side bag on my 2006. I am wondering if the bags from a Gen 1 will fit on a Gen 2, or if they were changed in some way so the two are not interchangeable.

Yes you can swap them back and forth between the bikes. Just tried this a coupe weeks ago with bags from an 05' and an 08'.

Apparently so..as my 06 has 1 mysteriously Galaxy Blue-like bag.
