What route were you planning? I presume you will just slab down 81? I know it wouldn't make any sense for you to come towards Fredericksburg, but if you did we could work something out. We would need to leave that area no later than 8:45-9:00 if we are to meet burnspot for lunch in Greensboro. Be happy to have you join if you so choose.

We will probably be leaving home at 8 am Wednesday morning. If anyone else from the area who is going wants to join up let me know. Burnspot, that should put us in Greensboro close to noon if you want to meet up.
That might just work out...depends on the newbie LD pillion I'll have. ;)
We could make a lunch stop and meet.
Sounds like a plan. :D
There is a Subway about 1/4 mile off exit 217 on High Point Rd. Shoot for around 12:30?

Yea, that sounds good. Barring any issues that arise, I'll shoot for that time.

Can you pick me up a 6" BMT while your there? :yahoo: Worth a shot!

Might just do that. Or leave early and try some Blueridge, but that might leave me riding later than I would like. I hate slabbing that far almost as much as riding 95.

I'll let you know for sure by noon Wednesday.

Hope everyone has taken care of seam sealing their tents. We could get wet in the evenings! Daytime forecast still looks good.

It is looking very iffy for me to make it. I have one of the cabins reserved and if anyone wants to take it over let me know, otherwise I am going to cancel it in the morning.

Thanks,

Chester

I hope that somehow you can still make it Chester. Mike, Steve, and Rob are coming all the way from Canada to pester you.

Sent you a PM; my wife and I would be happy to take the reservation if you can't attend (sucks if you can't). I love my tent, but the wife would probably like the cabin (although she'd lose a tent/sleeping bag backrest, lol). ;)

Hey...if the seam sealer doesn't work, you can always wear your rain gear.

There are ways to stay dry.
Well I am hoping that, at the least, I won't need rain gear INSIDE my tent. :Snorkle:
