    ABS Brake Bleeding

Because of all the ABS plumbing on the front brakes, I made my own cheap vacuum setup. (thanks Jestal) I used a stripped down air vacuum pump from Harbor Freight, a few fittings and a jar. I sealed the barb fittings on the jar with caulking. This thing draws the fluid through the system at a...

Adding brake fluid to master cylinders

I pour my brake fluid (Valvoline SynPower) into an old BMW DOT 4 bottle. This bottle has a long skinny neck that makes pouring the brake fluid easy. Like the Rad, I also throw an old towel over the bodywork below the reservoir. To get an even fill, I turn the handle bars to get the reservoir as...

    Happy Birthday Radman!!

At that age, maybe Rad could be the one to pioneer the first FJR trike. :D

    Audiovox Install

I bent the tab a little. Also used a button head and a ny-lock nut like uncle radman says. Like the previous post suggests, I put button head towards the cable to provide the least (zero) interference.

Engine Bolt Washers and Pesky Plastic Fasteners

I didn't use them. I measured the bolt hole depth just to make sure there was no danger of the bolts bottoming out without the washers.

    Few Pics from OK

OK, what part of the state is this at? I occasionally ride my FJR down to Tulsa from central MN to visit my daughter. Looks like a nice place to stop and visit.

    Torque wrenches

I've calibrated a lot of torque wrenches including sears. Agree with the above posts, you didn't harm your wrench.

    Custom machined Audiovox CCS-100 mount

    Anyone use these instructional videos?

My wife has the 'Ride like pro for ladies'. It pretty much covers slow speed tight turn type of stuff. Kinda of geared toward cruisers in parking lots. It won't teach how to hang off your bike or other fun topics. For that I would recommend the following books . Sport Riding Techniques by Nick...

    Dive on braking...?

I just changed the fork oil for the 1st time on my 05. I thought I would measure the level before I dumped the old stuff. It was interesting to find that the oil level was low, straight from the factory.

    Torque Wrenches

I've calibrated a lot of torque wrenches and I prefer the 'click' type torque wrenches, much easier to use & just as accurate in the real world.

    Throttle Rocker

I have the velcro one. It really saves me from major wrist pain when riding the super slab. I take it off for the twisties where I need fine throttle control.
