    Suspension Recommendation

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I just want better handling than I have, and since I'm not a power rider (I commute back and forth from work, and my girlfriend and I go out for weekend trips and she rides her own bike) all I really need is a stock rig. My brother's 2013 handles incredibly...

    Suspension Recommendation

I'm looking at Yamaha Parts House, and the exploded view of the rear shock assembly for a 2015 FJR1300A and a 2006 FJR1300AE look identical, but the AE part is $200 more. Anyone know why?

    Suspension Recommendation

I'm looking at parts and am baffled by what I've found. The rear shock for an AE is different than that of the A, and significantly more expensive. Anyone know what the difference is? Can I put the shock meant for an A back there?

    Suspension Recommendation

Hi all, I'm curious as to what the general consensus is on suspension upgrades. I have a 2006 that's getting squishy, and I'd like it to handle like my brother's 2013. Any and all suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks! Kevin

Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 - June - Peninsula start/finish

I have a house in Klamath Falls, so I've done that leg of the trip plenty. It actually goes a lot faster than Maps suggests. Anyway, if anyone is interested in tagging along, please let me know.

Sorry for the double post. No idea what happened. Any admins out there who would like to delete the dupe? Thanks!

Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 - June - Peninsula start/finish

Hey all, My brother and I are talking about doing a Saddle Sore 1000 sometime in early June, so I thought I'd toss it out there to see if anyone else would like to participate. As we get closer we'll keep an eye on the forecast for a Saturday that looks good both here and up north in Oregon...

"Real Ales Of Oregon" Tour - Summer 2013

Hey all! It's time to start thinking about rides for summer 2013, and some of us have decided to schedule the "Real Ales Of Oregon" Tour. The idea is that all participants will congregate at a time & location (to be determined), and over the course of a long weekend we'll cruise to areas with...

Google+ is not only free and awesome, but the numbers are growing. Facebook is for children (actual and metaphoric) while G+ is for people who like to participate in intelligent conversation without getting blasted by memes and "inspirational" garbage. It's a wonderful thing. Look me up, if...

    Oregon RTE

Had an awesome time today! I'm glad I found this group and the great folks who contribute to it. I heard that it's been a long time since there was a PNW run, and I certainly hope that's not the case from here forward! Kevin - InkHogNeato

Definitely heading up tomorrow morning, leaving at 0900. Will there even be a place to sit and eat lunch? Sounds like it's going to be packed! :scooter:

Cool. I'll be at the Pilot at 0900 so I'll keep an eye out for you. Company, even just proximity company, is always nice on a ride.

    Oregon RTE

I'm about 99.9% sure I'll be scooting up for lunch tomorrow. If anyone will be headed to La Pine by way of Klamath Falls, I'll be leaving around 0900 hrs, so I'll stop in at the new Pilot on Highway 97 (just north of Klamath) to tank up, and hang out for a few to see if anyone shows up. La...

    Crater Lake Run

We're up to six riders out of Klamath. Please let us know if you think you'll make it up to Crater Lake from anywhere so we know to look for you when we get there. Again, we're leaving at 9:00 on 9/9, and should get to the gift shop parking lot somewhere between 10:30 and 11:00. Hope you can...
