ALFJR 1, Deer 0, FJR wounded

When you find a deer sticker that is appropiate let me know. I kept mine up also at 70 mph and threw the deer 100 feet down the road. Lost every bit of plastic and headlight on the front and side of the bike. The fix wasn't hard to do. Ron Ayres.com plastics were available and for a lot less...

    Napa Spring run 17th Feb.

I'm in for this one. Morgan Valley road turns into Knoxville road where all the water crossing are. If it rains hard at all previously to the ride date they will close it. a real goat trail with lots of holes and ruts and water. Fun for me, but not for everyone.....

    Power Commander

Installed a power commander on my 03 using wallys smoothness map. Worked great. Since then I have installed the complete holeshot system with Dale's map. Even better, with no more heat from the cat and more bang for the buck......Sound is terrific.

PCIII cures all ills!!!!!! Well, almost

Just a line to inform you that you have the right idea. I installed the complete holeshot system (expensive) on my 2003 with 6K on it. All the jerks and lean surging went completely away. Dale sent me the map that goes with it also. Mileage went down a couple notches but the smoothness and...

I have an 03 and after installing the throttlemeister (long end) it took almost all vibs out of it. It did not have much to start with. Any heavy bar ends will help.

    71 year old cage driver

What you say about having your bags on makes sense. I usually ride without them but am leaning towards putting them on again. Good luck, heal quickly.

Want less heat and better performance too?

Installed a PC just before the Reno thing. Have been waiting for over a month or so for my complete DW system. Decided that eliminating the cat and having coated pipes inside and out would be benificial in reducing standing heat. I thought that the PC might cause the bike to run rich (without...
