    EZ PASS Holder

I have mine mounted on my helmet like a fin. Does any one know why the have to be so darn large and why they can't come in black? Do they melt in cars windows or something if they are black? :cheff:

    I like Corbin.

FJR1300, What are those "hats" you press on the pins? Are they a type of push nut? The bronze bushings I used are a very soft metal and won't damage the frame. I also placed thin rubber washers over bottom pins, so everything stays nice and snug. Let me know how it works out. I'm sure you will...

    Park your FJR

I love this thing! I get home, hit the garage button, drive in and park. No leaning on the kick stand, and no center stand! You just park the bike straight up. I've been using this chock all year and I don't think I could go back. I highly recommend Check it out!

    06 Corbin Smuggler

Groo, My PCIII fits nicely under the front seat. I don't think anything will fit under the Smuggler. It looks like they designed it to fit as close as posible to increase "inside" storeage. I think you will need to deside if your stuff can go under the front seat. You can relocated the tools...

    06 Corbin Smuggler

I've now have used my smuuggler for entire season and still love it. Once you become used to dropping items in that rear hatch I don't think you can go back. I will buy one for my next bike if they make one. PS: It doesn't rattle, whistle, and exchanges with the rear seat in 2 minutes.

    Farklefest 2006

fjrchik, Thanks for the info. Too bad. I thought that J&M CB was a radio. I like my Sirius, but I wish someone made a real FM radio for a bike. :( Your bike looks great!

    Farklefest 2006

I use a stem mount for my Sirius. Where did you get your radio? Did the antenna and mounting hardware come with it? Does it have a jack for ear phones, or do you need another device?

    Sight Glass Concerns

I ran mine about 3/4 of a quart low after an oil change. The light came on right away. I vote over filled. The drain plug is not that hard to access. You should be able to let a quart out with out dropping all the oil.

1st gear surging between 20 and 25 mph

I had a similar issue with my 2003 on warm days. I adjusted the CO and it ran much smoother. Then I bought a PC-III and reset the CO back to the original setting. Since I installed the PC-III and found a good map I have resisted all urges to mess with it. It runs perfect.

    BUYER'S REMORSE ...

Wa? I have Progressive and pay $90 a year. Full coverage would have been a couple hundred more. Did you tell them you live in Iraq? Fred, I also went back and forth with two bikes for a while. After bouncing between the FJR and a R1 I sold the R1. You don’t need to worry about deciding which...

    Show us your Cockpit

I used some black zip ties I got from Home Dept which came with some 3M stick on ankers which the tie passes through so it doesn't slide off the brake reserviour. Then I passed it through the clip that came with the radio. I can remove the radio by just sliding it up out of the clip.

zzkenoman, What kind of radio is that above your XM? Thanks

    2006 Side-n-Center-stand questions.

I dropped my bike in my driveway. The side stand wasn’t all the way forward. I won’t drop it again, but I did find a better way to store my bike at home. I bought one of these bike stands from the Baxley trailer Company. I absolutely love it. When I get home I just ride right into the garage and...

Getting dent out of fuel tank

I use a paintless dent repair company all the time for my business. A good one can work wonders. Don't mess with it. I'd let one of those guys check it out first.

    Bike Cover for FJR

I picked up a XL "Wolf" cover from Walmart. It might be the best thing I've bought for $19.89 in years. It fits like it was made for an FJR with bags. It is light weight and easy to use. I use it as an indoor cover so I can't say how it is in the wet, but it sure looks well made for under 20 bucks!

    Hooray for the Moko's

This is what happened to me in my own driveway..... I just got done replacing the left upper, lower fairings and stator cover. I added some new Mokos and the FJR is mint again! As an added precaution I was thinking of getting one of these stands from the Baxter trailer Co. I've seen them at the...

    Fairing parts

I really appreciate the advice. I didn't call Gary @ university because I'm in the east. I got prices from Arizona Motor sports and MR Cycles in NC. They both had great prices. I emailed the price list to my local dealer just to see if they wanted to match it. I couldn't believe it...

    Check your kick-stand

FJRider 1, That's a good idea. I think I'll take a look at shaving the stop back a mil or two. I'm gonna be OCD about checking this stand in the future. I'm used to my R1, which was more stable on the sidestand. Did you repair your bike? How much did it cost you?
