Looking at the front of your cowl below the radiator you might want to consider adding a Pyramid Plastics Fenda Extenda and a Cox Radiator Guard to your 'to do' list... inexpensive protection for the cowl and radiator...

Actually, the '13 doesn't have the rear inner flap either, it's part # 5JW-21621-10, it cost $12 and took me about 3 seconds to install... I can't figure why Yamaha deleted it from the Gen III's unless it was to save a few bux...

Thanks for the images! You're right, I'd wonder if the 18" would end up too close to the bags? Have you taken her off the center stand yet? The left side mid-pipe looks lower and is angled differently than stock and it looks like the center stand stop is lower which would keep the center...

The Delkevic carbon silencers should look great with your '14, be sure to post up pictures... one image request if you do post up pictures, once the new silencers are installed could you take a shot from either side of the bike with the bags in place? I'm curious how the balance will look with...

While you've got the hair dryer out heat up the stupid reflectors on the bags... hold the reflectors with a pair of ChannelLocks and twist the reflectors gently as you heat them, they're gone in under a minute, clean up any residue with Goo Gone or alcohol then polish with wax... your FJR will...

Good deal! I love my '13, I have a strong feeling you will too... the '14's red is NICE and all, but the stone grey of the '13 is stunning... Now you need to start researching Canyon Cages and Bag Guards and Cee Bailey's windshields and permanent oil filters and, well you get the idea... Enjoy...

I completely agree, I received my Cee Bailey's sport dark grey windshield for my '13 yesterday and the packing was completely over the top, even for UPS it would take quite an effort to damage that windscreen. I've purchased from Cee Bailey's multiple times and the quality never disappoints...
