I perused around and didn't see where there has been any specific discussion about methods for removing/re-installing the Gen-III fairing pieces (aka Tupperware). I also checked with a couple Yamaha dealers who were also freakin clueless (big surprise there). The Owner Manual actually has some tips for removing the battery compartment cover that appear helpful. But I thought it might be worth starting a topic for specific tips anyone has on handling the new tupperware short of getting pissed off and jerking it apart??? After all, it really is that different from Gen-II.

I'll go first... Actually read the Owners Manual for some starting tips.

Yup. That's where I learned how too. Getting those upper panels on and off takes some practice (and patience).

Little tip. I find removing the instrument surround is MUCH easier if you stand in front of the bike and grab the horns like boobs.
