Two things, go ahead and remove my Harley Buddy from my listing. He won't be able to make it, although I've got a couple of friends I might ask if they want to tag along. I'll let you know if that happens.
And the other thing is, a coworker just bought herself an early birthday present of a 2010 Camaro SS. Sweet car, for sure. But being the forum rat I am, I checked one of the Camaro forums and they are organizing a Sturgis rally the exact same weekend we will be in Spearfish. According to their website, they had 250 cars last year and are expecting more this year. So we may have to share the local roads with a bunch of hot-rods. It looks like they will be in the town of Sturgis but in their event schedule they have a run to Rushmore planned for Sunday morning. Shouldn't really be much of a problem, but just thought I'd mention it.
p.s. There also appears to be a "Cruisin Car Show" in Whitewood that same weekend. Sounds like the area may be a busy place that weekend!

I wouldn't be too concerned about the Camaro group or the Whitewood show.
The Camaro group will drink a lot, sleep late and sit in Sturgis at their scratch and sniff events looking at each others male appendage substitutes. We'll be on the road long before they are and they are quite easy to pass in second or third gear.
The Whitewood show is a park it and look at it, appendage comparison event as well.
Not to worry folks, plenty of roads to ride!

The United Side Car Association National Rally will be held 25-28 June just outside of Sturgis. Their HQ will be at Elkview Campground.

Oops, oh well, there is always another weekend to play in the Black Hills. My son and his fiancée have set this weekend for their wedding and that trumps this ride.
I have a room at Bells and another at Goat Crow or whatever, that will need cancellation, so let me know if someone wants a reservation transfer.
