NIce, Dean. That means I won't have to ride out to Rochester to meet you for breakfast this year.

Not that there's anything wrong with riding 250 miles to get to Mike and Laura's, who live 50 miles from me.

Glad you can make it Dean. Someone has to keep Jon in line. Looks like you're elected.

Looking forward to it see you and the rest of the crew as well Jon. As much as I'd like to see everyone taking the long way to get there will be in order as well. :)

As far as keeping Jon in line, I'll try my best but after five or six that duty will need to be handed off to someone else.

I do have one request for us tenters. Assuming Mel will be attending, can there be a couples only section in the backyard? I'm kind of a light sleeper and hearing "Oh Jon you beast!!" might will give nightmares.

BobCo, sorry for the slow response, but you're more than welcome to drop in! Happy to meet new folks, that's a big part of these wrench sessions. Truth be told, lots of peeps show up just to stand around with drink in hand, point and laugh!
Thanks for getting back to me. Since I don't really know anyone personally I doubt that I would point and laugh, but standing around with a drink in my hand will be a natural for me.

There's a small chance that my plans are changing and I won't be able to make it. But, if you would send me a PM with an address that I can GPS that would be great.

I promise you have nothing to worry about Dean.

And BobCo, if you're not pointing and laughing by the end of the day, that means you weren't paying attention.

Will there be the right tools there to flush clutch and brake fluid lines? If not let me know what I need to get and I can bring that if it doesn't break the bank.

I'm sure Ray will chime in here shortly on this. I don't personally have much in the way of tools, but I know he usually brings what he expects will be needed based on the list of maintenance items requested.

In fact, it might be a good idea if I start a list of what everyone needs to have done. If you have already posted earlier in this thread on what you want to accomplish, no need to reply, but for those attending that have not previously mentioned what they will hope to get done, PM me and I will then create an overall list. That way we will know what tools need to be available, etc. If you need to order parts, you can have them shipped directly to me if that works better for you. PM me and I will get you the address. If you need fluids (brake, fork, clutch, final drive, beer, etc), again let me know and I can get them ahead of time.

The best tool for flushing clutch and brake lines is a MityVac.

It just so happens I have one and I'll figure out a way to get it to you people even if I have to drive ride to Buffalo on Friday but I'll have to leave Saturday. My presence is required elsewhere bright and early Sunday morning for a dirt bike cross country event near London.

I have a Mity Vac and can bring it along if that will save you trouble. If you need an excuse to show up, then I don't have one!

Forgot to ask about this when asking about the flush. How time consuming is a throttle body sync? I don't want to take up garage space for too long so others can get what they want done as well.

Also I just noticed my bride scheduled something for us to do that Saturday night so my overnight is touch and go right now. I have time to possibly work a deal but if not I'll need to bug out around 3:30 - 4:00.

Thanks guys for bringing the Vac. If it falls through for some reason give me a heads up and I'm more than willing to buy one and bring it, I'll need a few days to get my hands on one.

Is it a campfire at Mike and Laura's?

Please say it's a campfire at Mike and Laura's.....

Please bring yours. I may still show up for Friday evening and part of Saturday but then I'm outa there. Is there designated parking for Toyotas. I know it will be closer than the BMW parking.

We'll probably put our cars in the neighbor's drives, so I believe we can fit both yours and Ray's in the driveway and still have room for a few bikes...even a BMW.

Sadly right now no campfire planned by her. I do have some time to work this so all hope isn't lost. Just a matter of the right time to bring it up.

Hi all

As in now I have clearance from da boss to go. Should get on the road early enough on sat morning so I can get there at a decent time. I'll b setting up my suspension. Nothing fancy needed, just some help to measure the sag. I'll try and get somewhere to stay in the nearby area (super 8?). Hope to meet you all in a couple of weeks!

HA HA! IT'S A CAMPFIRE AT MIKE AND LAURA'S!

NICE!

Believe it or not, I'm out for the tech day. I have 2 daughter's with babies. One daughter already had hers and has the christening planned for Memorial Day weekend, so I'm also out for Wellsboro. The second daughter is having her baby next Monday and the christening is planned for June 4th. Two of my favorite get togethers are are now shot. Family first sometimes ruins riding plans. I'll be at SEOR for sure. I'll see many of you there. Somebody have a beer for me while I'm home daydreaming of being in Mike and Laura's garage.
