I have been shaking the tree. I emailed one person that had shown interest in a previous GB and his response was pretty positive.

We'll know next week.

Also if anyone thinking about joining the GB and you have any questions, ask away. One way to know how good this product is,

just try to find someone selling a used one. There is also a video floating around that details an install.

It does not look difficult.

My bike came with 1" risers from the dealer when purchased new. Will these work on the Helibar? Or will the Helibar only work with their own brand/style of riser?

I am 99% sure I am in on this GB, but will have to wait until the later part of the month to order due to Uncle Sam and his greedy little hands. Do we pay when we order (I'm guessing we do).

Sorry I can not answer whether the dealer's risers will work with the Heli clamp. But the Heli risers are 10% off during the GB and you could

probably sell the ones you have on the forum. As far as paying when you buy. I paid Heli with a CC but they said they don't charge

the card until we have reached 10 orders or the end date. Once we reach 10 I expect your card would be billed immediately upon ordering. If you are thinking of paying by means other than a CC you may want to contact Jennifer for options.

No idea on the risers... no brand markings on them.

please pardon my naivety, but what makes this replacement triple-clamp 300bucks better than the OEM? Mind you I'm not doubting, just wondering. If been discussed elsewhere, please point me to link as to not take away from the purpose of this thread.

For me, being a tall rider, it is simply a question of riding position. Even after moving the handle bars to the rear position, I'm still not sitting as straight (vertical) as I would like. The result is aches and pains in the upper body after longer rides. If the weight can be transferred to the torso, some of these pains should go away. I think $300 is a bit high, however if I'm able to ride longer and more comfortable, I guess it's worth the price to me.
