I read a simular thread at another forum, but it said the filters were made in South America.
Dunno, but I now open the box and look at the filter before buying it. So far, all the ones I have picked up said Made in the USA.
And I would add that I would have no issue using a filter made in any other country , as long as there were no reported problems with it.

Yep, in a global marketplace it gets to be a little bit of a problem: BMWs are made in China, Triumphs are made in Thailand, etc.
I guess, if you were determined to have USA? -- you'd have to have a Harley-Davidson, a Polaris Victory, or an Indian (and I'm not too sure about any of them...?)? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
