PM sent, I'm in and I'll bring Donuts, Maple Bacon Long Johns anyone?
<Homer voice> mmmmm...Donuts. </Homer voice>

Do you guys take call in questions from my garage via Skype??

It should be about 33 degrees and raining...seems about right for some front caliper piston seal replacement and some seal/o-ring replacement forward of the U-joint. Neither of which I've done before.

Have a great time...and don't eat ALL the donuts. Save some for Shane.

Was able to figure out a housing situation last weekend, so...

Looks like this weekend is a garage-time weekend!

Saturday, March 26, folks are welcome over for a tech day/hangout/carb cleaning class/tire changing extravaganza/coffee drinking situation/whatever day. 9 am - ?

Lower your expectations and we'll have a great time!

If you need directions, PM me.

Shane

Skype? Sure! What's your handle?

Anybody else plan on riding over to Shane's or am I the only crazy one? I only have a mile to go though :D .

I guess it depends on how successful I am at getting both wheels off the bike tonight. That can be a bit tricky, if my memory is right, without a front end lift. I have done it several times, seem to remember putting weights into the trunk to get the front wheel off the ground after removing the rear. Kind of a balancing act after that.

My PR2 set will be here today....

Floor jack with a board under the exhaust works well for this--makes the wheels unnecessary for weight carrying. It also helps to put a board under the center stand to get a bit of extra lift to work with.

Ah yes, I would have forgotten about the trick to put wood under the center stand. Now that I have single sided exhaust I will be thinking of how to prop up the back end... probably just use the swing arm. I will see you guys tomorrow morning, let me know if there's any garage supplies you need I'll donate something.
