The fjr is totaly capable of kill'n ya fast anough with a 5 speed. This bike has a wide tq band that is strong from 1500 rpms up. You can ride like a harley or crank the throttle and frighten the heck out of your passenger. You will figure it out.

Some newbe's are to cool to way or just suprized ,it wasn't taught in class and the old riders ,nomatter what they ride just don't give a crap. These are usually on the wings and dirty hd's. I wish all i had to worry about was, is the other rider gon'a waaaayyy ,damn do most of us really care??????

Don't forget to back out some timeing,,,,,damd ecu will not make that easy. Talk to fuel moto ,maybe they can help with the powercammander.. Watch out for the squid on the liter bike with a turbo and monkey gas.

I ride hd's and jap and have fjr now. If your wife wants a hd look at some of the dyna glide models. Do go back and look at some of the early evo models ,say from 85 up to 98. If you pick a Fxd or Fxr model it is a good haneling bike and can have center controls or front controls.. DON'T go to...

I own a fjr and just sold my e-glide and am look'n for a older hd and personally i find a hd rider bashing another brand just as stupid as someone bashing a hd rider just because they ride something else. Someone that does is no better than the other. An it doesn't matter if you ride 100,000...
