    Deal Gap

Wont be going to WV. Not really doing a lot of riding right now. Today is the fourth, and Im packing and moving. New house trumps motorcycling.

    Deal Gap

Hey, been a LONGGGG time since we "swapped wit". Hope you are well. Got a couple questions for you. If you execute 19,751 back-to-back switchbacks, aside from dizzy, what do you get? While on switchbacks, is your bike up n on da road again? My understanding it is hard to do a switchback on...

    Deal Gap

I knew that planning something so far out was "dangerous"...and now as the time draws near...I find that I cannot make the ride I suggested. Seems the wife needed a new house more that I "needed" to ride. Thus, I have neither the time nor the funds any longer. In fact, this ride is but the...

    Deal Gap

Right now I am "planning" on leaving on the 9th of Aug, and returning the 12th. Lots of riding in a short time frame, but should be fun. I am willing to linkup with anyone along the way...the more the merrier.

    New Southeast Member Intro

Welcome aboard Mojo. Still dont have my FJR, but soon. Otherwise I could comment on the 15 mph switchbacks...probably something in the owners manual? Or ask luvtoride. Richmond is a bit of a drive, but I do ride down that way from time to time. I'll post here next time I;m down that way...

    Advice on magazines

I read Cycle World, Motorcyclists, RoadRider. As for subscriptions, I'm probably going to go with either Cycle World or RoadRider. Oh, and I read, cover to cover, every edition of American Motorcyclists (AMA's mag).

    Mature Riders and FJR's

Holey cr@p! You're right. Here I was thinking I was on the 10th hole, about to tee off, but I could be on the 18th green....and not even know it???? I need to get out and ride more! I'm 47, and in looking for my "next" bike, the FJR wasnt even a "twinkle" in my eye. After looking at the 07...

    Blue Ridge Parkway

Weather and unforseen commitments might prevent it...but I could be talked into riding along. That time of year...like the rest of the year, can be hit-or-miss with the weather. It is nice up there, even in December.

No talk of an Old Dominion FJR riders Group meet?

OK...Sat, Apr 21st...sounds good to me. We keep pushing it back, and I might have to ride my new FJR.... :) Time to pony-up. Whos good for this day. If nothing else, FJR Gary...maybe we could at least link up for a ride or something? I'd really like to see some people make this date. Da...

No talk of an Old Dominion FJR riders Group meet?

FJR Gary...I guess the question about which Sheetz can wait to be answered until later. I probably ment the one in Madison. Sorry for the confusion. At any rate, I think FJR Gary and myself have agreed that this Sat, the 14th, is not going to be a good day...for either of us. I know for...
