I have ridden just about every day since I purchased the FJR back in May, including every day in November. I leave for work at O'darkthirty and the coldest that I have seen is 25 along the Missouri river. I was perfectly comfortable wearing dress pants, dress shoes, dress shirt, riding gloves...
I was listening to some mp3's while riding the other day and this song came on....I kept thinking to myself that Rosie would be the perfect name for the FJR.

I have a Givi 52 and found out the hardway just how tough it is...
Long story short...
It came off while rolling down the interstate at 80mph with my laptop and a couple other delicate electronic devices inside. :blink:
When I found the Givi I was shocked and suprised to find it in one...
I have seen an indicated 155 with the side bags on and lightly loaded with no issues at all. I haven't been above 120 with the Givi E52 yet, at 120 I didn't have any issues at all.
I had 295.4 this morning and it took 6.1 gallons to fill up. Riding consisted of mostly super slab within about 10 mph of the speed limit. I had 48 miles on the fuel trip meter...was getting a little nervous since it had been flashing for a long time and didn't want to run out.

A lot of that information is just common sense for those of us that have been riding for many years and we forget how long it took us to learn these things from experience. I wish that there was some way to make this...
The zx-14 rider is currently in ICU at a St. Louis hospital his is on a vent with two collapsed lungs, many broken ribs, broken collar bone, broken arm, broken leg, borken ankle, and several fractures of his spine.
The details of the cause of the accident are sketchy as all three riders where...
