    905 Racing rear Crash Bars

I installed the 905 Racing REAR crash bars/bag protectors. While riding, I bottomed out the left crash bar (small scratch on the crash bar) when pulling out of a filling station on an incline going up and to the left. Has anyone had clearance problems with these crash bars? Made me nervious...

Helibar triple clap - can't wait

I used a Dremel tool to take the bolts as I could not get the drill bit to drill exactally on center. Dremil makes a bit (not a drill bit) that removes all maner of steel easily. It is the Dremil Tungsten Carbide Cutter PN\9901 I would not attempt the job without one on hand. Don't forget to...

I just ordered a pair of Motoport ultra 2 mesh kevlar pants and was wondering if any of you might have comments about what to expect and how to break in the new pants. They were ordered with full quad armor and lumbar quad armor. Gsozz

    Getting my FJR

I started on an FJR in 2008. First bike I ever had. I did not know the difference between bikes when I picked it out and made the purchase. Now I know that: 1. It is a fairly heavy bike. 2. needs many farkles to make it "right" for me....about $2k worth. 3. Is ment for street riding only, as...

Flat tire.....Should I replace the tire???

I just had a flat tire and had the tire fixed (removed and patched from the inside). I was told by a Yamaha Mechanic that I should replace any tire that has been patched for fear of the belt slipping and causing an accident. Is it common to replace any tire that has been patched? Thanks, Gsozz

Still having trouble with numb fingers? Try the small grip puppies on the grips and then slide a large set of grip puppies over top of the small set....add bar end weights, a Heli bar, gel gloves, cruze control and a cramp buster and you almost have the problem licked. All joking aside, the...
