Thanks for the kind words. The bike will find a different good home eventually. Until then she's enjoying her current stable. By the way the bike is still for sale. All offers are strongly considered.
Thanks,
Denny
Hello,
I tried posting pics to the old post but no joy. I am trying this new post to see if I can actually get the pics up with the help of FeTT-X on this forum.
All the maintenance has been completed by one Yamaha dealership. Yamaha Extended Service warranty on the bike until June 2014...
Thank you!
Bump new asking price $9500.00
I cannot figure out how to get pictures up so if you would like me to send pictures I will be more than happy. If someone wants to help me post pictures I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Denny

Excellent condition 2009 Yamaha FJR1300A. 22,000 miles. All maintenance has been completed by the dealership I purchased from in 2009. Extras include a much better coverage V-stream windshield, MCL Triple Tree to make sitting position much more comfortable, real cruise control (Murph's Kit...
During my impulsive purchase I also had an upset stomach. I had quite the opposite reaction as yours though. I drove it home and my arms were hurting and my neck was strained and I thought "What the hell did I just do?". This bike grew on me everyday and now after 16000 miles I love it more...

I'm 5'8" and when I first bought my 09 I thought I made a bad choice. After a vstream windshield and a new triple tree things improved greatly. After that it was mostly conditioning the muscles to the riding position of the bike. Now I have no problems riding my commute or any other trip with...
Thanks all for the input. I put them on using the two Suzuki bolts. They work fine and the difference between the two would be only something you could see if you knew what you were looking for (although it will probably drive me crazy for a while).
I will look into putting a sleeve around...
Hello,
Recently installed genII vstrom handguards on my 09A. The brake lever suzuki bolt is about 1/2" too long and it moves the hand guard up about a 1/2". Is there suppose to be two different length bolts?
Thank you,
Denny
Wow!!! These are truly inspiring. I live in Michigan and the only thing wrong with this bike is the the low amount of leg protection.
1) Do these things keep your shins warmer as well?
2) Would it be possible to mold the adjustable fairing and make it a bit larger and sell a THICK THIGH...
2009 FJR 10,000 miles in Michigan. No problems. Givi e52 with admore light kit (super easy install). Raised triple clamp. Vstream windshield.
This bike is fast, reliable and fits the daily driving guy great.
Happy Riding,
Denny
I am in Michigan and would be willing to take a trip if someone would help me with the install. I am clueless and do not want to mess up my new bike. .
