My low beams aren't working on my 2003. Removed the switch and cleaned...even lost the spring..LOL Looks like the switch just closes the high beam circuit. Checked the fuse..looks like it does both so wasn't that. Maybe the bulb..but would seem odd that both would be out.. unless the low...

Sometimes..when pushing the start button I hear the click but no start..or delayed starting. It doesn't happen all the time. Any ideas on where to start looking. Hoping its something fairly common that some here have had happen before. BTW...its an 03 with 65,000 miles. Thanks Gary

I did cromiets heat fix today. Pretty easy process. Only take about an hour. Rode it..but fairly chilly today.. so not sure of the degree (no pun intended) of improvement. It seems better but probably not as much as expected. Will report more when it warms up. I also put a heat shield...

Thought I'd comment on the CCT install I did today. THANKS yamafitter for the "how to" thread. And to everyone on the forum for their input. The only PITA is the lower bolt. Just follow yamafitters instructions and it goes ok. FWIW..the original tensioner was still in good condition...

Went to get the bike and the battery is dead. Finally figured out when checking dash lights I left the grip heaters on..oh well..couldn't be too hard to charge the battery? :unsure: Not the easiest access but after removing the plastic pieces a few times it got easier...don't ask...

The background light is flashing where the fuel/clock etc is located. I checked the diag codes and nothing there...any ideas why? Thanks

Searched and couldn't find a link/thread on how to remove rear wheel. Any help appreciated. BTW..just brought home an 03 FJR..just need to replace the tire. Going from a R1100GS to the Yamaha.. it looks different to remove. Thanks again
