Nice. Your logic about keeping your FJR is spot on. oh and BTW, my brother in laws 2017 and 2007 Shelby GT 350’s. Have driven both. I like the looks of the ‘07 better, but the ‘17 is the one to drive. ;)

Took 4 years, but now as I have time on my hands as I just got furloughed from work for the next 8 weeks, I finally fabricated some mounts to put the Givi Monokey bags on the bike .     

Well even on the FJR I'd still stop for fuel every 100-120 miles, stretch my legs, etc. And to be honest, I never did compute what kind of gas mileage I got on it. I'm betting I got around 38 mpg. I did say the luggage "looked" small, they didn't mention capacity. First thing I'd get for it...

Sorry if this was already posted... But thoughts on the "Sport Touring" Kawasaki H2? Luggage looks small and no shaft drive but other nice amenities:

Steering locked up? How? LOL. I honestly would have just countersteered more and if the bike did end up heading past the white line I definitely would have bailed. As for "laying her down"...that's what I hear most times when they are too embarrassed to say they panicked and locked the brakes...

Well thank God I can still buy different sized jets for my carb'd bike.... :)

Well, I went and ordered one from a local dealer. 53 bucks tax included. The only reason I can see for it is just to make oiling/cleaning the chain (and perhaps cleaning the wheel itself) easy. (Bonnie's have the chain on the right, so the bikes even leaning the right way) With sealed O ring...

In the semi tiny town of Pacific, Missouri, the largest town close to where I live now a bike shop opened up recently. I figured it was just another Harley/Chopper kind of place. Stopped by there today to find the owner rebuilds/restores older BMW's. shop had about over a dozen older models...
