I did the Barbarioan jumper mod a while back on my 06. I perceived a drop in how far a tank of gas would go. Maybe 10 - 15 %. I had set the numbers at +7 across the board. I moved it back to +5 tonight and it seems just as smooth at low speeds. I have noticed in both settings it now seems to run at 5-6 bars on the temp gauge rather 4-5 when stock. It wasn't even very warm lately, only about 70 deg F. Anyone else have this problem?

I tried doing a search but I never seem to be able to make them work properly. Always takes me to somewhere non relevant.

Tilam,

Only adding +7 would not lead to that big of a change in gas mileage... Being a little cooler, have you had your shield up more than usual? The shield up provides for better wind protection but worse gas mileage..

I did the BJM and did a 800 mile ride afterwards. Mileage was 40 mpg. No difference in temp.
