Brake pad renewal

Looking at the front pads, will be putting new ones in soon. Just wondering if, like BMW's with ABS, do FJRs' ABS system need to be recalibrated at the local Yamaha dealer after brake work like this?

BMWs need to have the ABS recalibrated after replacing the pads? Huh? :blink:

Sounds like a nice little scam to get another hour of astronomical rate labor out of the propeller head crowd...
