Anyone with some good advice on the Throttlemeister standard (FT&AY-R1) $130.00 or heavy (FH&AY-R1-H) $147.00?

Before you shell out big bucks on a throttle lock, you might want to look at Vista Cruise. It's cheaper ($30), easier to engage/disengage, and works really well. But each to his own.

The last time I checked, the VistaCruise wasn't available for the the FJR; I even called the manufacture. But that was a couple years ago so I'm behind the times in that regard.

I got the heavy Throttlemeister and it serves it's purpose. Well-made, looks sharp (but you have to polish it occasionally), and works well as a throttle-lock. It will stay locked forever, unlike the VistaCruises that I've used, which tended to loosen up after a few miles.

Audio Vox Cruise Control.......... Nuff said.
