Gary Egan's record ride from Prudhoe Bay to Key West has been beaten today, by this fellow on an FJR. Check out the fuel tank!!!

It says the record holder did over 1400 miles a day for 4 days. OMG, I once did a 1300 mile day in a car, and I was exhausted. I can't imagine what it must be like on a bike. Iron Butt indeed!

I can't imagine starting a ride like that on a bike with 138,000 miles. My FJR will last forever!

My only response to a ride like that is "why". I am sorry, but that does not look like it would be any fun, and if it's not fun then what is the point? I guess if you are in to records, then that is quite an accomplishment. However, he can keep the record, while I enjoy the ride.
