I have a 2011 - love the silver color.
10,000 miles in 12 years qualifies as motorcycle abuse! Why would someone even bother...?

Spent my 6 mos AIT @ Ft. Monmouth in '71...Loved Asbury Park beach (via hitch-hiking back then)

I'm old enough to remember when hitch hiking was safe..but never did it myself. And Ft Monmouth is mostly sold off and full of townhouses now.
