So far I have my relay wired like this for my Eastern Beaver PC-8 fuse block:

30- fused power from the battery

85-ground from the battery

86-switched power to trip the relay

87-switched power to the PC-8

I still need unswitched power, do I get it by piggybacking another wire from the fused power on terminal 30 or something else?

Depends on the load. If you tap off 30 then both circuits are on the same fuse. If you run a separately fused line to a terminal strip or something, you get separation of switched and unswitched circuits.

Thanks for the confirmation guys. Wfooshee it makes sense to run a wire separate from the relay, so that is what I will do.
