This article appeared in the Idaho Falls newspaper yesterday:

The new speed limit will take effect on some stretches of the Interstate Highway System in Idaho starting next week.

Should allow a quicker transit of the Gem State!!

I was coming through Utah last fall shortly after the bumped the limit to 80 on I-15. Kind of wild when the really big rigs are lumbering along at 80

I'm thinking Montana will be next. I don't know if MT'ans can tolerate the thought of 80 mph all the way up I-15 from southern UT through ID then having a slower limit posted at the MT border. They like it fast there too....

The human body was never designed to travel that fast.

Now ... where is that "pearl-clutching" gif when you need it?

They will need to improve the two lane roads for us slow folks. I came through ID a few days ago and really enjoyed US 30. Although I was usually going around 80, it was so much nicer than I84 after the two merged. It is amazing how quiet and nice the air is without the traffic.
